Cortney Hurley

medium_cortneyweb.jpgCORTNEY HURLEY.
Cortney's credits with 20% include scenic design for David's Redhaired Death, lighting design for Re-focused and Jane: Abortion and the Underground, as well as production management for 'night, Mother. During the school year Cortney can be found at St. Scholastica Academy, where she has been the resident designer (scenery and lighting) and technical theatre instructor/director for the last eight years. During the summers she can be found at Theater on the Lake where she has been the Assistant Production Manager for three years. In addition, she has recently spent time as Master Electrician for Lifeline Theatre and Production Manager for the House Theatre of Chicago's production of Ellen Under Glass, among other things. She is looking forward to lighting 20%'s as of yet untitled(?) August extravaganza, and to be working with both Plasticene and Strawdog this fall.

Cortney doesn't like to put shout-outs in her bio, but she thinks that the group of women listed on this page totally rock, except for the bio-nazi. She knows who she is. And since she thinks Cortney cooks a mean frutata ( i.e., frittata), I guess she rocks, too. If you would like to contact Cortney to cater your next company meeting, please email her at twentypercentchicago@yahoo.com.

Oh, and Cortney hates having her picture taken, just for the record.
