With Christmas approaching, Hamlin is selling rolls of wrapping paper out of the trunk of his car, struggling to support his aspiring cosmetologist wife, Dinah, and her invalid brother, Jimmy, the frequent guinea pig of Dinah's botched shave jobs and manicures. But things get complicated when Lulu falls for Jimmy, and sets out to save him from his sedentary life.
